I don’t know about you but I enjoy a few pumpkin things this time of year! You could buy pumpkin pie spice at the store or make it yourself – and avoid any caking agents – with this recipe here!
BUT…the health bonus is that I’ve added just a bit of Reiki and/or Chaga mushroom powder. They are really powerful, immune-building, mushrooms with a deep earthy flavor. They take your already-health promoting spices and kick it up a big notch.
Enjoy in your homemade non-dairy lattes, sprinkled over your baked sweet potatoes, maybe even in smoothies, and in any of your grain-free baked goods!
The mushroom powders are more potent when mixed with a warm beverage or food, but if your intuition says to add this mix to a smoothie, don’t let that stop you!
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
2 pinches cardamom
1 tsp Vimergy Chaga or Vimergy Reishi powder
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and store in a small spice jar to use later!
