Simple spices that most of us already have in our kitchen!
This spice blend would be great in/on:
- Latte’s – organic coconut milk or almond milk – and the spice mix to taste
- Baked Squash
- Roasted Root Veggies (carrots, sweet potatoes, yams, beets)
- Cooked grains like quinoa (if you eat grains)
2 T ground cinnamon
2 T ground ginger
2 T ground allspice
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cloves
Mix and store in an airtight container.
Option #1 – depending on how you are using…add some dehydrated orange peel. But know that orange peel should be reconstituted in water about 15 minutes before using. Orange peel is very concentrated so be sure to use less than fresh orange peel.
Option #2 – add raw or toasted shredded coconut! Mmmmmm!
