Eat This…Cure That. The Secret To Curing Disease YOURSELF

It almost doesn’t matter what disease they’ve labeled you with. If we “take out the bad and put in the good”, your body can heal.  80% of disease in America today is “chronic” disease.  Chronic means it took time.  It didn’t happen overnight.  We might as well call it “lifestyle” disease.  Years and years of bad choices – soda, energy drinks, excessive amounts of caffeine, alcohol, high carbs even if it is “whole grain”, smoking, herbicide exposure, processed foods which contain preservatives & artificial ingredients, lack of activity, vaccinations, dental work  – it all has a cumulative effect.  We’ve gotten to where old age is commonly associated with unhealthy.

Surgeries.  Medications.  Disabilities.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.  Common doesn’t mean normal. We’ve just been led to believe this happens to everyone.  It doesn’t.  Travel the world.  But go to a country where they don’t have all our processed food and lack of activity.  And 85,000 chemicals registered with the EPA.  And GMO’s in everything.  And vaccinate their babies to death…..or to Autism at least.  They are healthy still.  We are our own worst enemy.  My grandpa would say “we’ve sh*t in our own mess kit”.

Every day we all make choices.  Those choices can utilize food as medicine……or food as slow poison.  We can choose organic…or not.   We also have options about what we clean our toilets with…and what lotion we spread all over our skin.  And if we heat & store in plastic.  And where we buy our meat, and whether that chicken has been fed antibiotics that contain arsenic.  The choices we make on a daily basis are endless. The problem is, things often seem cool and like we’re making progress with technology and all of our options but often times we pay the price and it’s with our health.

Knowledge is power. You don’t have to be rich to be healthy but you do have to be informed.  The choices we make on a daily basis ARE affecting our health – for better or worse.  The TOTAL toxic load we expose ourselves to IS a burden to our mitochondria.  Food, Chemicals, Air, Water.    Mitochondria are the engine of every cell in our body.  Imagine running your car on soda and chips instead of true gasoline.  Or imagine running your car but the engine has physical damage to the engine– just like toxins damage our DNA and voila, it’s a cancer diagnosis.

I did a free class on detoxification recently.  In it, participants learned about Total Body Burden.  If you don’t know what that is, you’re the perfect participant.  I taught participants about our total body burden, the basics of how and why we need to detoxify, signs and symptoms, diseases associated with toxicity…and some pearls or action steps they could take to decrease the load. You see, it’s not like folks go from perfect health to MS overnight.  It just doesn’t happen that way.  And it doesn’t have to.
